Job Description:

Must have a strong understanding of Mah Jongg and be well-versed in the official game rules. Greeting participants and providing a high level of customer service. Responsible for the preparation of lessons plans, instructing, and evaluating class participants. Lead group of 8 students per session. Arrive on time and prepare needed equipment. Track attendance and communicate program updates to participants. Respond quickly to all emergencies and administer first aid as needed. Starting salary $16.00 per hour or higher (depending on experience).

Job Requirements:

Instructors are responsible for providing their own instructional materials, tracking class attendance, starting/ending class on time and turning in paperwork in a timely manner. Must exhibit initiative in the absence of supervision. Have a positive attitude and show professionalism in communications. Experience working with older adults, confident managing multiple participants at a time, and the ability to create a fun environment. JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.
