Job Description
Please note that there is some flexibility in start time for this position. Red Gate Farm is seeking hard-working, kind, and enthusiastic individuals to help lead overnight school programs, summer programs, and assist in running the farm. Farm Educators build meaningful relationships with youth, learn to take care of a variety of farm animals and vegetable gardens, and gain valuable leadership skills in the process. Red Gate Farm's school and summer programs are purposefully small, with typically a 1:6 educator-to-student ratio. The Farm Educator helps to develop programs and assists with farm maintenance and operation as needed. This position is designed with many opportunities to learn and grow as an educator in a unique outdoor setting. Housing provided. Benefits include health insurance and food stipend.
