Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic Family Health team as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to diverse populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your nursing skills, physiology and anatomy knowledge, and medical expertise to improve health outcomes. Responsibilities Performs comprehensive physical examinations for students Triages and performs acute care examination and treatment Assists in the management of students' chronic health conditions Orders, obtains, and administers medication as indicated Provides individual and group health education Completes necessary logs, chart documentation, reimbursement forms Contacts parents/guardians to gather student history, obtain missing information, seek parental consent and communicate findings. Participate in student services teams, interagency meetings, and school-based planning/staff meetings Skills Proven ability in delivering exceptional patient care with compassion and professionalism. Proficiency in nursing practices combined with a solid understanding of medical terminology and documentation protocols. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration.
