Job Description

Community Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking a passionate Teen Intervene Health Educator to provide evidence-based substance use prevention and early intervention services to youth throughout Worcester County, Maryland . This is a contractual, position with travel to schools and community sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Teen Intervene sessions and substance use prevention education for adolescents. Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational presentations in schools, community centers, and other youth settings. Build positive relationships with youth, families, schools, and community partners. Maintain accurate documentation and program data. Monitor participant progress and assist with program evaluation. Collaborate with agency staff and community stakeholders to support program goals and outreach efforts. Requirement of seeing 5 clients per month either individually or in a group and a big emphasis on building relationships with youth centers and Worcester County Schools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience providing youth education, prevention, or substance use programming. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Experience working with diverse youth populations preferred.
