POSITION SUMMARY
The Health & Wellness Specialist provides fitness equipment orientations, promotes YMCA health and wellness services, maintains and cleans equipment, and enforces recreation guidelines. Open shifts include, Monday through Friday from 3:30PM- 7:00PM.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Demonstrates proper equipment use and exercise form Monitors member activities on the fitness equipment, indoor track, gym floor and locker rooms. Maintains all areas in clean, presentable fashion Provides outstanding member service Give tours to prospective members Handles member complaints Stays current with advances in the health and wellness field Sets up equipment for group exercise and various sports activities. Enforces YMCA member guidelines. Performs any other functions deemed necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the YMCA of Greater Grand RapidsCOMPENSATION
$14.35- $17.
