Provide individual support or counseling in general wellness and/or nutrition. Track attendance and participation data related to wellness events. Maintain fitness equipment and facilities, ensuring safe and clean facilities and equipment. Assist with marketing campaigns to promote a healthy lifestyle or participation in fitness and wellness programs. Teach classes to improve strength, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, or general fitness of participants. Recommend or approve new program or service offerings to promote wellness and fitness. Facilitate fitness or wellness events or programs. Operate, and instruct others in, proper operation of fitness equipment. Conduct or facilitate training sessions or seminars for employees of company. Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job. All other duties as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator or Leadership Team. Must be able to work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and leadership. Possess a sensitivity and aptitude for working with the elderly. Complete and maintain required orientation and annual trainings. Be up to date with completing required QuantiFERON tests, Mantoux tests or chest x-rays. Must pass background study. This position is responsible for assisting in the Wellness Program for both resident of Serenity Assisted Living and employees of Serenity Companies. This position is a temporary position, typically to fulfill requirements from a post-graduate collegiate program.
