Job Description

Friends School of Wilmington is seeking two enthusiastic individuals to provide meaningful experiences for our aftercare students while upholding our values of peace, equality, and integrity. Instructors will be supported by, and report directly to, the Director of Auxiliary Programs.
Instructor responsibilities include:
Supervision and care of K-8 students enrolled in aftercare program Maintaining an enjoyable, safe, valuable, and fun environment for students Implementation of established program curriculum, and/or assistance with, enrichment programs Executing a provided schedule of daily activities Maintenance of classroom and equipment during program hours Communication and documentation of student behavior and attendance Interaction and communication with parents during student pick-up
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate (or equivalent) CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) Ability of implement and participate in aftercare activities A desire to work with children; previous experience preferred Willingness and ability to complete required abuse prevention training
Daily Schedule:
