Full Job Description What We Offer:
Position:
Lactation Consultant Schedule :
Full-time (36 hours/week), day shift. Schedule will be 7:00A-7:30P, self schedule on a 6 week time tract. 3 Fridays required per 6 week time tract, and 4 weekend shifts required (can be any Saturday & Sunday combo). Holiday rotation required, no call requirements.

Requirements:

What We're Looking For:
Education :
High School Diploma, required. 4 Year/ Bachelor's Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of one year of experience in mother/baby care or breast feeding education, required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration :
Current IBCLC certification, required. Current RN licensure in appropriate state, preferred.
Additional Skills :
Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Excellent customer service skills.
What You'll Do:
Provides breastfeeding guidance to patients, families, staff, and community in delivering education, information and training that responds to individualized needs in accordance with the current policies and procedures.
