Summer Camp First Aid Specialist (Nurse)

Working at camp will give you the hands on experience you need to manage a diverse group of children, develop creative activities and lessons, and grow your understanding of young people. Kateri Day Camp provides over 200 children, ages 5-13, a safe and wholesome summer camp experience. Daily activities include swim lessons, hikes, nature games, sports, arts & crafts, literacy, science, and other special events. Kateri Day Camp is seeking a Summer Camp First Aide Specialist - Summer Camp First Aid Specialist - Responsible for appropriate medical assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, management, documentation, and referral of campers. Responsible for direct and indirect care given to campers in compliance with NJ Youth Camp Safety Act regulations. Must be present every day of camp. Professional level CPR and First Aid Certification required. School Nurse Certification preferred.

Pay:

$30 per hour. Weekdays 6/22/26 - 8/7/26 from 8:30-3:30. Must have a sincere desire to work with children. Must be able to work entire summer and attend mandatory trainings. Previous experience working with children preferred. Must be hardworking, diligent, energetic, respectful and responsible. Must love being outdoors. June 22- August 7th, Monday-Friday from 8:30-3:30. Must be present all days of camp. No vacation days.

Mandatory training dates:

June 13th-June 20th. First Aid and CPR certifications are required for all summer staff. We will provide training, as part of our staff training, if they are not already certified. .
