Job Description

Overview We are looking for someone who is: Positive and motivating Supportive rather than directive Creative in making exercise fun and engaging Passionate about helping others build healthy, sustainable habits To support a young woman with an intellectual disability and a seizure disorder in achieving her health and wellness goals. This role focuses on promoting healthy lifestyle development through exercise, meal planning, and education. The candidate will provide personalized fitness sessions 2-3 times per week during daytime hours (9a-5p) in the client's home in Dillsburg, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in fitness coaching, health education, human services, special education, or supportive caregiving. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Develop and deliver a personalized fitness program based on the client's needs and goals Conduct engaging training sessions that promote consistency and long-term wellness Support healthy grocery planning, meal preparation, and basic nutrition education Ensure the client's safety, health, and overall well-being during sessions Follow and implement the client's individualized Seizure Protocol when needed Accurately complete service documentation after each session Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to pass a background check Background or strong interest in fitness, nutrition, health coaching, education, or human services Excellent communication skills with the ability to encourage and empower others Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a plus
Pay:
Up to $28.67 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 6.0 per week
