GENERAL OVERVIEW
This job serves non-billable functions within the CHILL Workshop. These responsibilities include serving students, school district employees and student families. Responsibilities with students include facilitating support groups, school clubs, assemblies, and skill building education that tie into the program goals and curriculum. Responsibilities for school district employees include facilitating professional development, classroom consultations, school district employee support groups, and skill building education that tie into the program goals and curriculum. For families, responsibilities include facilitating family educational seminars, and other family communication as needed.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Student skill building education. (20%) Facilitating student support groups and clubs. (20%) School district staff skill building education. (20%) School district staff professional development. (10%) Facilitating school district employee support groups. (10%) Classroom consultations for school district staff. (5%) Facilitating family education seminars. (5%) Facilitating school assemblies. (5%) Other family communication as needed. (5%)
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field 1
  • 3 years providing behavioral health support to students in a school setting 1
  • 3 years providing behavioral health support to students within a behavioral health program setting 0
  • 1 years providing professional development to educators or related professional group 0
  • 1 years knowledge of Mindful Awareness, DBT and CBT Preferred Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
