Job Description
Meet Luro Health Luro Health is a mission-driven telehealth organization committed to improving health outcomes for Medicare and Medicaid patients through evidence-informed, multidisciplinary care. We partner with safety-net providers to expand access, reduce friction in care delivery, and deliver measurable outcomes for underserved communities. As an early stage but rapidly growing health tech start-up, we are building a world-class team that combines clinical rigor, operational excellence, and practical technology to scale high-quality care nationally. How You'll Contribute As a Health Coach, you'll support patients in our virtual obesity program through ongoing coaching, education, and care coordination. You'll play a key role in driving engagement, behavior change, and overall patient experience - working closely with providers and the care team. What You'll Do Conduct regular virtual check-ins to track progress and motivate patients Support lifestyle, nutrition, and behavior change goals Serve as a primary point of contact for patient questions and support Coordinate with providers, dietitians, and care team members Document patient interactions in the EHR Escalate clinical concerns to licensed providers as needed What We're Looking For 2-5 years of experience in health coaching, patient navigation, care coordination, or a similar patient-facing role. Interest or experience in obesity medicine, lifestyle change, chronic condition support. Able to efficiently use and adapt to EHRs, telehealth platforms, and a variety of digital communication and workflow tools. Strong organization skills and comfort managing multiple patient touchpoints. A strong ability to build trust, motivate patients, and communicate with empathy in a virtual setting. Health coaching certification and/or a bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred. A reliable internet connection and a private, HIPAA-conscious remote workspace.
