SCHROTH BOSS

Schroth Boss is a growing scoliosis specialty practice dedicated to helping teens and adults manage scoliosis through personalized exercise programs, education, coaching, and support. Our mission is to make specialized scoliosis care accessible to people regardless of where they live while empowering clients to understand their spine, reduce pain, improve function, and avoid unnecessary surgery whenever possible. We combine in-person care, virtual coaching, and online education to provide a comprehensive scoliosis treatment experience. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist who wants to become a scoliosis specialist and help build the future of Schroth Boss.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a unique opportunity for a Physical Therapist who wants to specialize in scoliosis treatment and receive direct mentorship while helping build an innovative and rapidly growing practice. The ideal candidate is excited about both in-person patient care and virtual coaching and is interested in becoming an expert in scoliosis-specific exercise treatment. This position will begin at approximately 10 hours per week with the opportunity to grow into a larger role as the practice expands.

The ideal candidate is: Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois Excellent communicator in both in-person and virtual settings Comfortable leading Zoom and virtual sessions and educating clients online Coachable and eager to learn Organized and dependable Self-motivated and growth-oriented Interested in becoming a scoliosis specialist Excited to help build something meaningful Comfortable working independently Professional, compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient-centered Previous scoliosis experience is NOT required, but a plus! We are looking for the right person first and will provide specialized training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct Patient Care Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions in person at Schroth Boss Scoliosis Clinic in Orland Park, IL Deliver one-on-one virtual coaching sessions via zoom/circle communities platform Assist clients with exercise progression and technique correction Support prescribing and implementation of scoliosis-specific exercise programs Monitor client progress and outcomes Client Coaching & Support Write, prescribe, and progress client video exercise program Review client exercise videos Provide feedback and coaching support via screen-recording and voice memo feedback Answer client questions promptly within 24 hours Encourage accountability and program adherence Assist with client onboarding and follow-up Administrative Responsibilities Documentation Client progress tracking Team meetings, internal communication and collaboration

TRAINING & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The right candidate will receive: Direct mentorship from Dr. Katie Blanchard, DPT Training in Schroth Boss systems and coaching methods Exposure to both virtual and in-person scoliosis care Support toward becoming a scoliosis specialist- including Basic & Level 1 Schroth Training coursework Schroth Certification The selected candidate will attend a virtual Schroth Method Basic Course in July and in-person Schroth Method Level 1 Course in August 2026. This specialized training will allow the therapist to begin treating scoliosis clients using Schroth-based principles and techniques.

COMPENSATION

July 2026 -

Training & Onboarding Period Compensation:

$30/hour for training & live coursework $50/hour for administrative tasks, client support activities, coaching-related responsibility, meetings and professional development Following Schroth Level 1 Course (August 2026)

Direct One-on-One Patient Care Compensation:

$80/hour for in-person patient treatment sessions $80/hour for virtual one-on-one coaching sessions

Administrative & Support Responsibilities Compensation:

$50/hour for documentation, exercise video reviews, client support, coaching support tasks, team meetings, non-patient-facing responsibilities HOURS Initial Schedule Approximately 10 hours per week starting after Level 1 Schroth Method Course Flexible scheduling options available, evening hours required (until 6pm CST) Growth Opportunity As certification is completed and the practice grows, there will be opportunities to increase toward 20 hours per week and beyond. Our goal is to develop a long-term team member who wants to grow alongside the practice.
