JOB SUMMARY

The Professional Development Intern will assist with the development and support of HMC personnel; physicians; students; and community members through the provision of quality educational opportunities pertinent to job position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; learning to teach American Heart Association classes while evaluating participants' skills and competency; adhering to governing agencies' guidelines and mandates; assisting in facilitating organization and record validation at annual competencies; assisting with management of the learning management systems (LMS); assisting in facilitating computerized student orientation; and learning to act as a resource and liaison to nursing units; ancillary departments; and healthcare related educational programs at Hendrick Health.
