A Sensory & Motor Coach is a trained professional who guides child, teen and adult participants using our holistic and integrative Brain Balance Program to help participants improve their brain health, cognitive abilities including attention, inhibitory control and memory, as well as overall mental well-being for brain and body. We work with a neuro-divergent population that spans from undiagnosed challenges to ADHD, learning disabilities and Autism.

Brain Balance is a holistic brain health program that improves attention, cognition, and overall well-being through an integrated approach combining cognitive, physical, and sensory training with nutritional guidance. This program strengthens brain connectivity without medication, resulting in improved attention, behaviors, and social-emotional well-being. We work with children and adults to enhance their cognitive abilities, emotional regulation, and learning.
Position:
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and empathetic individual to guide school-aged children (and some adults) through the specialized Brain Balance program. This role involves working with students who aim to improve their foundational development, including attention, mood regulation, behavior management, and learning capabilities. Many students have developmental diagnoses such as ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, and Learning Disabilities, while others seek general developmental improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide 1-2 students per session through our specialized Brain Balance program.
- Implement sensory, physical, visual, and cognitive integration exercises.
- Foster a supportive and engaging environment for students to thrive.
- Communicate effectively with students, and team members.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and program activities.
- Participate in continuous learning and development through Brain Balance certifications and training.

Professional and Educational Background:
Preferred:
1- 2 years of hands-on experience with children.
- Though not mandatory, a background in family and child development, education, psychology, health care, or a movement/physical activity related field can be highly beneficial. This knowledge base allows for a deeper understanding of the program's impact on optimizing brain health and development.
Physical Capacity:
Ability to demonstrate and coach various physical exercises. Examples include exercises for balance, core muscles, coordination + more.
