Job Description
EMT Instructor Copper River Family of Companies flexible benefit account, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), expense account United States, Texas, San Antonio 1003 Beckett (Show on map) Aug 20, 2026 Coho Integrated Solutions is seeking exceptional EMT Instructors with expertise in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) disciplines. In this role, you will train, and mentor enlisted Sailors in the fundamentals of emergency and nursing care in support of the Navy Medicine Training Support Command (NMTSC) Hospital Corpsman Basic (HCB) Program at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Responsibilities(include but are not limited to): Shall provide students with clear course objectives and classroom expectations; ensure that course content and objectives are met.
Shall utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate the diverse learning styles of students.
Shall conduct examination reviews, administer examinations as scheduled and proctor to ensure testing integrity.
Diagnose and evaluate student abilities and progress in a timely and consistent manner.
Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
Assess the accomplishments of students regularly and provide progress reports as required.
Adheres to ethical, behavioral and professional standards.
Essential Job Requirements:

Proof of US Citizenship is required to work on this contract.Education/Certifications:
Possess a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor certification or the ability to obtain BLS Instructor certification within 30 days of employment. Instructors must have between 5 and 7 years of recent instructional experience and have completed a military service-approved Instructor Training Course (ITC) within the past five years. The ITC is a mandatory requirement.Required Knowledge/Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in direct patient care either in patient or outpatient basis.About Copper River & The Native Village of Eyak:
