In this vital role, you will oversee the delivery of peer-led services that empower individuals navigating mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. You will coordinate efforts to ensure culturally competent practices, maintain strict confidentiality, and utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively. Duties Supervise and mentor peer recovery support specialists, providing ongoing training in crisis management, behavioral health strategies, motivational interviewing, and harm reduction techniques. Coordinate daily operations to ensure delivery of high-quality peer support services aligned with best practices in mental health counseling and addiction recovery. Lead crisis intervention efforts by supporting staff during urgent situations involving clients with mental health or substance use crises. Promote culturally responsive approaches by working with diverse communities and sharing personal recovery experiences to foster trust and engagement. Oversee documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate and confidential client records are maintained in compliance with privacy regulations. Facilitate client communication by supporting peer specialists in engaging individuals with co-occurring disorders through motivational interviewing and client-centered techniques. Advocate for clients' needs by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring services incorporate recovery peer support principles and social work best practices. Requirements Proven experience working with individuals facing substance use disorders, mental health conditions, or co-occurring disorders in diverse settings. Strong background in crisis management, crisis intervention, behavioral health, addiction counseling, and harm reduction strategies. Demonstrated ability to mentor and supervise peer support specialists while fostering professional growth and team cohesion. Knowledge of social work principles, motivational interviewing techniques, and maintaining client confidentiality within healthcare environments. Skilled in working with culturally diverse communities to deliver inclusive recovery services that respect individual backgrounds and experiences. Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management purposes. Excellent communication skills to effectively share personal recovery experiences while advocating for client empowerment.
