Job Description
Performs routine basic patient care procedures and Unit secretary duties as directed under the supervision of the registered nurse or LPN. Work is performed in accordance with Patient Services Standards of Care and professional standards of practice. Maintains orderly, safe and clean environment Consistently displays professional conduct during interactions Demonstrates behaviors consistent with participation in shared leadership Attendance meets hospital requirements Accepts responsibility for individual actions Actively shares knowledge, information and expertise with members of the interdisciplinary team Seeks out new knowledge and integrates into practice Follows through with standards of care Takes action to prevent failure to rescue Behaviors with internal and external customers are consistently professional and reflect organizational standards Addresses internal/external customer issues Prioritizes and utilizes time effectively Demonstrates awareness of changes in healthcare and economic trends Demonstrates flexibility in meeting staffing needs High School Diploma or GED is required Current BLS/CPR by the American Heart Association.
