Patient Care Technician Chandler Regional Medical Center - 3.6 Chandler, AZ Job Details Full-time $19.49 - $27.52 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications BLS Certification Full Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will deliver essential direct patient care under the supervision of our clinical team. Leveraging your knowledge of basic patient care principles and medical terminology, you will perform a range of daily duties. Every day you will actively assist patients with personal care, mobility, and feeding, monitoring vital signs, documenting observations, and maintaining a therapeutic and organized patient environment. You will also work closely with the nursing team to prepare patients for procedures or transport. To be successful in this role requires a genuine passion for patient well-being, diligence in executing tasks, keen observational skills regarding patient conditions, and a proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development. Assists the nurse/physician during examinations, treatments, and procedures as requested. Documents clinically relevant findings in the patient's record according to hospital protocols. Assists with patient admission, discharge, and transfer and/or transport patients throughout the hospital as needed. Orients patient to room/routine, monitors and records patient vital signs, weight, positioning, ADL's, I&O's, activity, and blood glucose readings per RN instructions, hospital protocols, and standards of care. Obtains specimens as directed and according to hospital protocol. Demonstrates respect for/protection of patient rights including closing doors or curtains while providing care.
Job Requirements Required Certified Nursing Assistant:
