Job Description
Overview
- All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis CA
- We are driven by our mission: "to improve the health status of the community and promote medical education" . As a Mental Health Worker with the Central Valley's largest private employer, and at the only inpatient mental health facility in the Valley
- the average day is anything but average and you will actively feel and see how your role directly impacts our mission.
- High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- Successful completion of one of the following three options: (1) Obtain a diploma/certificate from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program(2) Obtain a diploma/certificate from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program(3) Nursing Fundamental courses from an accredited clinical RN or LVN program (typically done in the 1st semester) required
Preferred:
- Current enrollment in an accredited school of Nursing for RN or LVN program is preferred. Experience
- 1 year of direct patient care experience required Licenses and Certifications
- BLS
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- One of the following is required CNA
- State of California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (active of inactive status is acceptable) EMT
- Emergency Medical Technician Certification issued by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (active or inactive status is acceptable) RN or LVN Student/Graduate Disclaimers
