$1,600.00 - $1,635.10 / Weekly Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical procedures, terminology, and patient care support, contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services. As a Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals with diagnostic testing, patient monitoring, and treatment procedures while ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. Duties Prepare and operate medical equipment for diagnostic tests, including blood analysis, imaging, or other laboratory procedures. Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and treatment procedures with precision and professionalism. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) by documenting test results, patient information, and procedural details efficiently. Ensure all medical instruments and devices are properly sterilized, calibrated, and maintained according to safety standards. Support hyperbaric medicine treatments by monitoring patients in pressurized environments and ensuring adherence to protocols. Administer basic life support (BLS) and CPR when necessary to stabilize patients in emergency situations. Educate patients on procedures, post-treatment care, and safety protocols to promote understanding and comfort. Follow strict safety guidelines to prevent contamination or infection risks within clinical settings. Experience Prior experience working as a Medical Technician or in a related healthcare support role is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology essential for accurate documentation and communication within clinical teams. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is required; additional certifications in hyperbaric medicine are advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems to ensure precise record-keeping. Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, diagnostic testing protocols, and medical equipment operation. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow complex instructions accurately. Effective communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals and educating patients effectively.
