Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Qmap Overnight caregiver, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to residents during the overnight hours. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a Qmap Overnight caregiver, you will ensure residents' safety, comfort, and well-being through attentive care, medical support, and compassionate communication. Your energy and dedication will help create a warm, secure environment that promotes dignity and independence for all residents. Duties Provide personalized resident care during overnight shifts, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Monitor residents' vital signs, administer medications as prescribed, and document medical information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory support, and hospice care protocols Ensure safety by performing manual handling tasks safely and adhering to proper lifting techniques for heavy lifting or transfers Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive medical records and documentation Respond promptly to emergency situations by applying first aid or CPR skills and coordinating with healthcare professionals when necessary Support residents with catheter care and state healthcare regulations Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous Experience working with geriatric patients or individuals with developmental disabilities is essential Valid certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and basic life support (BLS) required Understanding of senior living facility operations, memory care practices, and dementia-specific needs is beneficial Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality ensures high standards of privacy and security Join us in making a meaningful difference overnight! Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
