Job Description

A services organization in Thornton, Colorado, is actively seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their Workplace Health & Safety team. In this role, the Emergency Medicine Technician will be responsible for providing medical assistance and engaging in various safety operations.  About the

Nights Schedule:
4 shifts per week
Hours:
6pm to 4:30am
Setting:
Occupational Health Responsibilities:
Providing first aid and making medical referrals, as necessary Reducing injury risk through education and proactive measures Maintaining records of care and coordinating workers' compensation programs Engaging with employees and leadership to promote safe work habits Participating in training and maintaining first aid, CPR, and AED credentials Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED EMT / Paramedic certification, Military Medic experience, and/or Athletic Trainer certification Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Knowledge of OSHA regulations Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications:
Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED training Experience with Industrial Wellness programs Experience managing Musculoskeletal Disorders and Ergonomics Knowledge of Workers Compensation processes Proficiency in Digital Record Keeping
