Clinical Support Technician Position Summary Under the specific direction of the Nurse, the Clinical Support Technician performs a variety of functions that support patient care within the unit. The CST assists with general patient care, data collection, documentation, application of monitoring devices, communicates patient data to nurse, stocks necessary equipment and supplies in patient rooms. The employee will demonstrate knowledge in the current concepts of his/her field and is responsible for providing quality service to patients and families. Clinical Support Technician Position Requirements Education High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience None specified Clinical Support Technician Schedule May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy. Scheduled off at least three holidays per year. Required to work weekends per unit need. Expected to work overtime on occasion. Clinical Support Technician Benefits At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
