The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care within assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings. This role requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, documentation, and patient safety, with a focus on supporting individuals with diverse needs, including those with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities. The candidates must have background check level 2 passed and all the required certificates. Responsibilities Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines Document medical information precisely in medical records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Provide specialized care for residents with memory care needs, Alzheimer's, dementia, or hospice requirements Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition or behavior Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff Collaborate effectively with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Follow all safety protocols related to infection control and patient safety standards Experience Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or home care settings preferred 6 hrs Assist with Self-Administered Medication Intial Training is
MANDATORY
Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology knowledge essential for accurate patient care Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or in memory/dementia care is highly desirable Background in caregiving roles including hospice or senior care is advantageous Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards necessary for compliance Previous exposure to acute care environments or working with patients requiring complex medical support is a plus This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients while working within a supportive healthcare team dedicated to excellence in patient care.
