Job Description

Tranquil Shores, LLC., a nationally recognized and accredited chemical dependency and behavioral health care facility, is seeking a Part-time Behavioral Health Technician for all shifts which includes weekends. This position provides and/or produces a variety of services for clients living in or community housing. Such services include, but are not necessarily limited to, observation and documentation, transportation to and from activities, medication monitoring, and housekeeping assistance. Maintains proper records, receipts and other documentation as prescribed by regulation policy or procedure. This position requires constant observation and documentation of client behavior for clinical evaluation. It includes supporting client recovery for after hour and weekend activities. The Behavioral Health Technician works within the center's policies and procedures, and also in accordance with the standards of state and federal regulations. This position provides support services to clients receiving substance abuse and/or mental health services. This Responsibilities and Duties Help to maintain client treatment schedule Monitor and report all client challenges to clinical team Recognize crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions/de-escalation Strives for positive, professional relationships with staff, clients, and visitors Understands job functions within the organization and performs accordingly Qualifications and Requirements 1) Working weekends and holidays are a requirement. 2) Able to pass a level II background check 3) Valid driver's license. Must be able to pass MVR driver's license check. 4) Treatment work experience or related experience in human services
