Outpatient Procedure Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a patient oriented, organized individual to work in our fast-paced outpatient procedure department. Position is for a post operative full time team member and entails assisting patients off the procedure table, pushing them in a wheel chair to the post operative recovery suite, monitoring vital signs during their post operative wait time, reviewing discharge instructions with the patient and/or their caretaker, sterilizing procedure equipment and scheduling follow up appointments as needed.

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to stand for 8 hours. Must be able to use a variety of office equipment. Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Employee must access various work areas while pushing various items on a frequent basis. Requires navigating ramps at a 5 degree incline while pushing various types of wheelchairs with both hands requiring a force up to 80 - 100 lbs force. Employee must bend forward or stoop/squat when operating medical equipment such as wheelchairs. Medical Assistants, LPN, CNA, Patient Care Technicians, all welcome to apply. Position is full time, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. No Holidays or Weekends.
