YOU MUST HAVE A 6 HOUR IN PERSON MEDICATION TECH. CERT
Responsibilities:
  • Collect and record patient medical information and vital signs
  • Assist with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Assist with self administration of medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
  • Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Assist with the transportation of patients within the facility
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 Hour Medication Technician course (In Person)
  • Knowledge of medical documentation and record keeping
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, AED certification
  • Understanding of physiology and anatomy
  • Experience working in a nursing home, hospital, or similar healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., PCC)
  • Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
