Not Required Position Overview Seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 6-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the Emergency Department, inpatient units, portable imaging, and Operating Room , with the flexibility to float to other departments as needed. This role is well suited for a technologist with Level I Trauma experience or extensive experience in a large Level II Trauma facility who can work confidently in a high-volume hospital environment. Requirements Minimum 1 year of Level I Trauma experience , or 2-3 years of experience at a large Level II Trauma facility Active ARRT certification Current BLS certification Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiologic technology program Strong experience with inpatient and portable X-ray imaging Comfortable working in the Emergency Department and OR Must be willing to learn and work with pediatric and neonatal patients Ability to operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment Ability to evaluate images for technical quality Comfortable floating between departments as needed Mask fit required Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations across multiple hospital settings Provide imaging support in the ED, inpatient units, OR, and portable environments Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment safely and effectively Evaluate images for positioning and technical quality Maintain patient safety and follow established radiation safety procedures Adapt to changing department assignments and float as needed Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, students, and other healthcare professionals Support student education at Grady and perform competency check-offs for students
