Job Description
WinnMed is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the Surgery & Infusion department. Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in Surgery & Infusion (formerly known as Same Day Services) provide direct basic care to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Additional responsibilities include facilitating clear verbal and written communication among patients, families, visitors, healthcare team members, and allied health providers. The role also involves accurate and efficient patient registration, as well as performing clerical and administrative duties such as typing, record keeping, mail distribution, and reception functions for the Surgery & Infusion department.
