This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with individuals requiring specialized medical support, including those in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, and community care environments. As a Med Tech, you will utilize your clinical skills and medical knowledge to assist with daily patient needs, ensure accurate documentation, and support overall health and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to creating a safe, nurturing environment for those in your care. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support. Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and safety standards. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; document findings accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Support patients with specialized needs such as tube feeding, catheter care, Alzheimer's or dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
