This position performs routine inspections, soil care, fertilization, pest and disease management, and growth regulator applications while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of trees and shrubs for signs of insects, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stress. Apply fertilizers, soil amendments, biochar, and other plant health care products according to company and industry standards. Perform soil injections, root collar excavations, trunk injections, bark treatments, and foliar applications. Monitor treatment effectiveness and document findings. Identify common tree and shrub species, pests, and diseases. Maintain accurate treatment records, inventory, and work orders. Operate and maintain PHC equipment including spray rigs, soil injection equipment, and hand tools. Communicate treatment recommendations and findings to supervisors and customers. Follow all OSHA, ANSI, EPA, and company safety requirements. Assist with tree care operations and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge of tree and shrub identification preferred. Knowledge of common insects, diseases, and plant health care practices preferred. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Valid driver's license Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and application equipment. ISA Certified Arborist certification or willingness to obtain certification. Commercial pesticide applicator license or willingness to obtain.
