Job Description
Performs the function of a Patient Care Technician in carrying out all assignments under the direction of an RN in all areas of assignment including Inpatient, ED and Day Surgery. This position will be a float only position. Is accountable for all patient care he/she gives in the unit assigned/scheduled. Is responsible for adhering to all standards of Nursing Practice and for promoting teamwork among Colleagues through collaboration and respect. Position Qualifications High school graduate Effective verbal and written skills Effective customer service Computer keyboard skills Healthcare Provider CPR certification One year experience in healthcare setting preferred Completion of Nursing Assistant Certification, Nursing Fundamentals Course, EMT Course, or MA Course preferred
