0600-1830 Posted 06/29/2026 Req # 7725 Job Summary This position works under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Administers care to patients and provides support to the patient care team. Responsible for both special and routine patient care procedures and assists in the nursing care of critically ill and stable patients on the Inpatient Unit. Job duties include assisting nursing staff as needed, providing basic patient care which includes but is not limited to personal care, IV starts and removals, phlebotomy, catheter care, EKGs, and ensuring the patient surroundings are clean and orderly. Responsible for performing general secretarial, receptionist and clerical duties. Assists in keeping a safe environment y communicating patient needs to the nursing staff. Minimum Job Requirements High school diploma or its equivalent. A minimum of six months experience as, Medical Assistant (MA), Phlebotomist or equivalent (e.g. military training)- OR•One-year recent hospital experience providing direct patient care•OR•Currently enrolled in an accredited school of Nursing program and have successfully completed their sophomore year.
