We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Kansas City Card Arrhythmia Research which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare. Seeking a HIM Tech for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role: You will complete medical releases, injury reports, Workers Comp forms, and monthly referral logs You will assist with managing patient charts including assembling new patient charts, organizing medical records for subpoenas, and patient chart delivery You will code workers comp encounter forms and set up workers comp accounts in the system You will code and charge out x-ray What Qualifications you will need: One year of experience as a HIM Tech supporting a physician practice is highly preferred Experience using an EHR system is extremely helpful Benefits Kansas City Card Arrhythmia Research, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
