Job Requirements Company Description Located in Largo, Md in the heart of Prince George's County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George's County residents.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a full-time, day shift Patient Care Technician to join our Pre-Op team. This role is ideal for a CNA who enjoys hands-on patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment and wants to work closely with a supportive care team. You will assist with routine, non-licensed nursing care using advanced medical and surgical skills, monitor vital signs, and communicate changes in patient condition to help ensure a safe, smooth experience for every patient.

Monday
M. Valid CNA license required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties. Assist nursing staff with direct patient care activities, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, and supporting daily living activities. Collaborate with nurses, clinical coordinators, and nurse managers to implement patient care plans and ensure continuity of care. Accurately document patient information and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate nursing personnel. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Support clinical coordinators in coordinating patient care activities and managing workflow within the unit. Participate in training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing required. Previous experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role preferred.
Required Clinical Skills:
- Blood draw experience.
- Ability to place IVs.
- Bed cleaning responsibilities required.
- Patient transport responsibilities required.

5:00 A.M.
- 1:30 P.M. Monday
