Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Obtain and document patient vitals. Perform bedside testing. Perform basic nursing procedures such as oral care, perineal/foley care, non-sterile soaks, or thermal applications. Ensure cleanliness of office and examination rooms. Clean and store equipment. Maintain supply inventory and re-stock as required. Perform basic clerical duties as needed.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledge of basic nursing and patient care.AGE-RELATED COMPETENCIES
Demonstrates the basic knowledge and skills necessary to identify age-specific patient needs appropriate for this position.INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Cooperates fully in all Risk Management, Quality Management, and Safety Activities and Investigations.MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education- High school diploma or equivalent; plus specialized, short-term training in basic patient care. Work Experience
- clinic setting preferred. Training
- Formal nursing assistant and/or medical assistant training required. License/Certification
- Certification in Nurse Assisting or Certification in Medical Assisting preferred.
