JOB TITLE
: Patient Care Technician
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES
: Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; assisting patients in basic tasks such as using the restroom, getting dressed, discharging via wheelchair; keeping area cleaned & stocked; assisting nurses with basic nursing care. Working in a fast paced environment; communication, multi-tasking, & prioritizing skills needed.
REQUIREMENTS
: Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients. Current American Heart Assn. BLS certificate Required.
