Position Summary General Summary/Responsibilities:

Independently performs diagnostic cardiac echocardiology procedures utilizing proper techniques and protocols. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with registry in the operation of equipment. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Cardiopulmonary Department. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform other cardiology procedures in other modalities based on departmental needs. Will have on call responsibilities. Population Served Age of Population Served

Cardiology Information Systems Working Conditions:

1. Must be able to push, pull, and assist in lifting up to 300 pounds (both patients and equipment) 2. May be exposed to aggressive, violent behaviors from patients, family members, and/or visitors 3. May be exposed to blood and body fluids, including those with tuberculosis, HIV, hepatitis, or body infestations 4.
