Job Summary Working as a med tech isnot a requirementfor this position , there is the opportunity to train as well if interested. Looking for both care partners and part time med tech. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training to become a Med Tech after showing good work performance once trained as a caregiver, expanding your skills in medication administration and advanced resident care. As a Care Partner, you will provide essential personal care, support with daily activities, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our residents during evening hours. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will help foster a nurturing community where residents thrive. This paid position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within the healthcare field while delivering exceptional senior care. Duties Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support for residents during the swing shift Assist with medication reminders and observe residents for any health changes, reporting findings to nursing staff Support residents with meal service, hydration, and nutritional needs, including tube feeding if trained Monitor resident safety by conducting regular rounds, ensuring proper use of mobility aids and fall prevention measures Document resident interactions, vital signs, medication administration, and care activities accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being, especially those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Collaborate closely with nursing staff to ensure compliance with state healthcare regulations, HIPAA confidentiality standards, and medical documentation protocols Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of senior care practices including dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and geriatric physiology Certification in CPR and First Aid; additional training in medical terminology or basic life support (BLS) is a plus Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting safely while maintaining resident dignity and comfort Strong communication skills for caregiver interactions and resident engagement Must adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient records Willingness to learn new skills related to medication administration and advanced resident care as part of Med Tech training opportunities Join us in creating a vibrant community where compassionate caregiving meets professional growth!
