Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide essential support to individuals in their daily routines. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by assisting with personal care, mobility, and everyday activities. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Support mobility needs by helping clients transfer, walk, or use mobility aids safely Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Follow care plans and document client progress accurately and thoroughly Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying living spaces, and meal preparation Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or supervisors Maintain a respectful, positive environment that encourages independence and dignity Skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse individuals Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions precisely Physical stamina to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting clients as needed Reliable time management skills to ensure punctuality and consistency in care delivery Knowledge of basic first aid and safety procedures (certifications preferred but not required) Compassionate attitude combined with patience, flexibility, and professionalism Join us in providing compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
