- General Internal Medicine
- 7a•7p The General Internal Medicine unit is a 25-bed medical oncology unit providing care to adult and geriatric patients ranging in age from 18•95.
Primary populations treated include:
melanoma, sarcoma and GI patients receiving complex chemotherapeutic and bio-immunotherapeutic regimens and all solid tumor cancer patients receiving immune effector cell therapy. The Ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably one year of healthcare experience . They work well on a care team , assisting with patient activities, vital signs, and maintaining a safe environment while ensuring accurate patient information updates.Working Hours:
The working hours for this role will be 7a-7p. It will be 3 days a week at 12hrs a day. At MD Anderson, we offer careers built on care, growth, and balance. Acts as a member of a multidisciplinary team to identify and address patient care needs Assists with activities of daily living, patient mobilization, admissions/discharges, and obtaining vital signs Updates and retrieves patient information accurately Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment Functions as part of an assigned care team Other duties as assigned.Education Required:
