We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation. 25 & 26 Main Acute Care Unit Description The Acute Care Unit (25 & 26 Main) is a 31-bed, dynamic unit caring for a diverse patient population, including medical, cardiac, surgical, trauma, neurology/stroke, and oncology patients. As a Clinical Technician, you'll play a key role in hands-on patient care, working closely with nurses and providers in a supportive, team-focused environment. Job Responsibilities:

To learn more about a day in the life of a Clinical Technician 1, please visit: Working as a Clinical Technician (2 Mins) Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse. Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

Training :

Must be available six (6) for non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of: Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM) Virtual training modules.

Classroom-style sessions:

8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total) On-unit shifts May perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Certification:

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire

Special Skills:

Proficient verbal and written communication skills in

English Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
