We provide emergency and non‑emergency medical transport within the federal system, including select long‑distance transports for federal partners. EMS:
average 2-4 transports per 12‑hour shift Stable, mission‑driven environment focused on quality, safety, and reliability
Location and Service Lines Divisions:
Richmond, VA and Salem, VA, with Salem, VA as primary
Services:
Emergency and non‑emergency medical transport; select long‑distance transfers
Operations:
Exclusively within the federal system (VA/DoD) Schedule and Call Volume Typical shifts: 12‑hour tours Average unit activity: 2-4 transports per 12‑hour shift (lower than traditional public ambulance services) What You'll Do Deliver safe, compassionate patient transport and basic life support within EMT scope Communicate clearly with dispatch, facilities, and care teams; complete accurate documentation Maintain ambulance readiness, cleanliness, and equipment checks Support the mission by riding on the truck as needed to meet transport demand What You'll Bring (Minimum Qualifications) 1+ year of experience as an EMT and 1+ year of ambulance field experience EVOC certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment) Professionalism, strong communication, and commitment to safety and patient experience Screening Requirements (Have These Ready) Valid driver's license Three‑year DMV driving record Relevant/current certifications (EMT and EVOC or plan to obtain) Consent to drug and alcohol testing Our Mission We proudly serve the Veterans who have served this nation and support the federal agencies that safeguard our country.
