Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our compassionate healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting vulnerable populations. As an LNA, you will play a vital role in delivering direct patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for our residents. Duties Provide direct personal care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs and health status using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation protocols. Assist with medication administration under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring proper procedures are followed in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and behavioral health requirements. Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices to promote safe mobility and transfers. Maintain a clean, safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings such as ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute care environments to ensure comprehensive patient service. Document patient information accurately in EMR/EHR systems while adhering to medical records standards. Skills Valid licensure as a Nursing Assistant (LNA) with current certification. Experience working in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities. Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, catheter care, and basic life support procedures. Knowledge of specialized areas including Alzheimer's/dementia/memory care, hospice, behavioral health, and sub-acute or post-acute settings. Proficiency with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring assisted living support. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards related to medical documentation and patient data. Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and attention to detail in patient service delivery.
