Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assisted Living Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of our assisted living community. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care, maintaining compliance with health regulations, and fostering a supportive environment for residents and staff alike. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in long-term care management, administration, and senior care, combined with strong leadership and financial acumen. As an energetic leader, you will drive operational excellence while promoting a warm, welcoming atmosphere that enhances residents' quality of life. Responsibilities Manage the overall operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring high standards of resident care and safety. Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans tailored to residents' needs. Supervise staff members, including leadership, caregiving teams, while fostering a positive team environment. Ensure compliance with all state and federal health regulation policies related to long-term care and assisted living services. Oversee healthcare financial management, including budgeting, billing processes, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency. Maintain thorough documentation of resident records, medication administration logs, incident reports, and regulatory compliance reports. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by staying current on industry best practices in senior care, home & community care experience, and group home management. Experience Proven leadership experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes with a strong background in nursing home administration or healthcare operations management. Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, dementia care protocols, and memory care best practices. Demonstrated success in supervising multidisciplinary teams within senior or home & community care settings. Prior experience managing budgets, financial planning, and healthcare financial management within a healthcare or long-term care environment. Familiarity with medication administration procedures and regulatory requirements related to assisted living settings. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Strong communication skills complemented by social work insight and a passion for enhancing residents' quality of life through compassionate leadership.
