Hope, AR Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Therapy and Rehabilitation Services to lead our therapy departments at our Hope, Arkansas facility. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee inpatient and outpatient therapy services, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in strategic planning, staff supervision, and operational excellence, contributing to improved patient outcomes and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of therapy services, including inpatient (swing bed) and outpatient programs. Provide supervision, mentorship, and evaluation for PT and PTA staff, promoting professional development. Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Ensure compliance with all federal and Arkansas state healthcare regulations, including documentation and billing standards. Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and operational efficiency efforts. Conduct evaluations for physical therapists as required, ensuring high standards of clinical performance. Maintain an active NPI number and facilitate staff adherence to licensing and certification requirements. Support staff with clinical supervision, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Active Arkansas Physical Therapy License. Current AHA BLS Certification. Minimum of 2-5 years management experience in a therapy setting, ideally in rural or critical access hospital environments. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and support therapy staff. Strong communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in EMR/documentation systems, with Trubridge/CPSI experience strongly preferred. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient therapy settings, with adaptability to different caseloads. Ability to work independently within a smaller team environment. Must have a valid NPI number.

Up-to-date flu shot and records.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
8-hour days, guaranteed 30 hours per week, no weekends or holidays initially.
Salary range:
$115,000 - $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Per hour rate:
Based on annual salary; specific hourly rate to be determined.
