Every scan is interpreted by board-certified physicians, and every patient receives a level of clinical attention and personal service that reflects our commitment to prevention, education, and excellence. We see a limited number of patients each day by design — our environment is calm, unhurried, and personal, and we intend to keep it that way. We give people a detailed picture of their health while they are well — and then, just as importantly, we sit down and help them understand it. That second part is the whole idea. This is the first practice of its kind in Arkansas, our team is small and founder-led, and it is still early. Even in a float role, you are part of building something that does not exist anywhere else in this state and regionally. About the Role We are building a small, trusted bench of float coverage. In this role, you'll step in for our regularly scheduled coordinators during planned time off, occasional weekday absences, and Saturdays when additional coverage is needed — typically two to four days per month, scheduled in advance whenever possible. This is not a fill-in-the-gaps job. On the days you work, you are the face of Veralux, and our patients should never be able to tell the difference. We are looking for someone who wants low-volume, high-quality shifts rather than full-time hours. What You'll Do Welcome and check in patients with warmth, professionalism, and genuine attention. Verify patient identity and documentation; review MRI safety questionnaires and intake forms for completeness. Answer questions about our services and what to expect, escalating clinical questions to our physicians and technologists. Coordinate appointment and consultation scheduling; answer incoming calls and emails. Collect patient payments and answer billing questions (Veralux is a direct-pay practice). Maintain accurate records with strict HIPAA compliance and disciplined phone-verification practices. Keep waiting areas and patient suites welcoming and prepared. Leave a clear handoff for the returning coordinator so nothing is dropped. What We're Looking For We can teach our workflows and our software. What we can't teach is genuine kindness and professionalism. Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment with confidential information. Our patients include executives and professionals for whom privacy is paramount — protecting it is non-negotiable. Experience delivering exceptional service in hospitality, concierge, premium wellness, or healthcare settings. Reliability above all. When you accept a shift, we are counting on you completely — there is no second coordinator that day. Outstanding interpersonal skills; warm, polished, and composed under interruption. Comfort learning new systems quickly and working independently after training. Ideal (but teachable — apply anyway) 1+ year in a medical office, physician practice, or imaging center with direct patient contact. Working knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records. Experience in concierge medicine or executive health. Schedule and Commitment Coverage days are typically weekdays 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or Saturdays 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. Most shifts are scheduled two or more weeks in advance; occasional short-notice requests may come up. We ask for availability of approximately two days per month to keep your familiarity with our systems and patients current. Paid onboarding includes paired shifts alongside a regular coordinator before you work independently. Patient-facing team members wear Veralux-branded scrubs, provided by the practice.
