Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule appointments efficiently, managing calendars for multiple providers to optimize clinic flow. Verify patient information, insurance details, and update medical records accurately using electronic health record systems. Communicate clearly with patients regarding pre-visit instructions, appointment details, and follow-up care. Support dental staff by preparing patient charts, collecting medical histories, and handling administrative tasks. Answer phone calls promptly, address patient inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate team members. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with privacy regulations and clinic policies. Qualifications Prior experience working in a dental office setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures to facilitate effective communication. A plus if you can work as dental assistant as well. Proven ability to provide excellent administrative support within a busy office environment. Familiarity with Dentrix office software, and scheduling systems. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining a professional demeanor.
