Days Salary:
$146,900 - $198,000 We are seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services (RN) to lead a high-performing perioperative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven surgical services leader to oversee a large, multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Position Highlights Salary:
$146,900 - $198,000 annually Full-time, exempt position Monday through Friday day schedule Leadership oversight of 114 FTEs 10 active operating rooms Approximately 9,000 annual surgical cases and 2,000 annual endoscopic procedures Areas of Responsibility Main Operating Room Ambulatory Surgery Center PreOp PACU Preadmission Testing Anesthesia Services Central Sterile Processing Department (CSPD) Surgical Specialties Orthopedics Urology OB/GYN General Surgery Plastic Surgery ENT Neurosurgery Podiatry Responsibilities Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of nurses, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and sterile processing staff Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, employee engagement, and performance management Manage departmental budgets, contracts, vendor relationships, and regulatory compliance Monitor equipment, supplies, and operational efficiency Foster a culture of patient safety, collaboration, and professional development Implement evidence-based practices and support continuous quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Active Arizona RN License required Minimum 5 years of Surgical Nursing experience Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a surgical setting Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing or related field BLS Certification ACLS Certification PALS Certification CNOR Certification If you're an experienced perioperative leader ready to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.
